Those are the fairy-tale birth announcement cards and fantasy paintings by Pincopallino. Since 1995 Holland’s first and by now largest web studio for unique fairy-tale birth announcement cards and fantasy paintings featuring your own child!

A SWEET FAIRY TALE COMES TRUE.....
In 1995 Pinco Pallino Studio was the first to start with a complete new and fairy-like way of illustrating for amongst others schools (teaching material, audio and visual material), product image design and magazines. Clients are amongst others Wallaboo, Gemeente Rotterdam, Rotterdam sprookjesstad, AH, Kids in the City, de Bobo, Happinez, Sanoma-uitgevers, Uitgeverij Tirion, Kinderinfo, geboortepost and many others.
On the basis of these photo prints we were asked to create something similar for acquaintances, friends and later on, on commission. We portray our ideas and combine this into a harmonious unity, in accordance with your wishes and featuring your child!

Ordering a birth announcement card design
Ordering a Pincopallino design is very easy!
You can decide beforehand, whether you would like us to print the design created for you, or if you would like to print it yourself. Design and print (see print) both have their own order menu.
1. Ordering
You will choose a sweet scenery in advance. If your baby’s sex is still unknown, you may also choose a second design. This you can simply indicate on the order form in the `other comments` section. So you will only pay for one, but will receive a digital sample of both designs.
Meanwhile, you can download the questionnaire here. Fill in all the details which you would like to see on the card. As soon as Pincopallino receives the completed text list and after payment, you will receive your first digital sample within 5 working days. The layout of this sample is already complete with your own texts and details.
You can also choose a special font for your baby’s name. This letter will be used on the front as well as on the inside of the card, to make your baby’s name extra special.
2.Payment
At Pincopallino’s you can pay in different ways; transfer in advance or IDEAL. When paid via iDeal, you may notice that the beneficiary’s name is not `Pincopallino` but `Mollie BV`. This is because Mollie BV is the link between iDeal and Pincopallino.
3.Sample
After payment we will send you a sample that has a complete layout with your own texts and details included. Check the digital sample carefully and send back any alterations or your agreement by e-mail. When you have the design printed by Pincopallino, you could also receive a paper sample. You can immediately indicate this upon ordering. For a paper sample we charge Eur 10,-.
4. Born
As soon as your baby is born, Pincopallino will send you an e-mail with the most beautiful photo (high resolution) of your baby and the last details. You will receive a last sample by e-mail as soon as possible and after your approval, subsequently this sample can immediately and without difficulties be taken to a printer near you!

How to take photos of your baby at home
Taking pictures of your baby is very easy.
Only take photos of your baby in a safe and for the baby comfortable position! Everything visible underneath or behind the baby we are able to remove. Everything that is lying against or in front of the baby we CANNOT remove!
- Take pictures in sufficient daylight (see picture1). Rather take photos with light from the front than light from behind.
- If necessary, put on the camera’s flash.
- Adjust the photo size of your camera to LARGE.
- You could take pictures of your baby on for example a white sheet.
- Make sure that the child is on the screen as full and as large as possible.
- Take care that the material your baby is lying on is not too soft so that your child will not partly sink into it, which will cause for example that a piece of leg or face will not be visible.
- The child’s position should harmonize with the design chosen by you.
- Take the picture at your child’s eye level.
- Your child does not have to look straight into the camera to obtain a beautiful picture.
Spontaneous photos are often the nicest! Take your time to take pictures of your baby! Take a sufficient number of photos, select the most beautiful picture and send this one to pincopallino.nl.

Personal design

Also for a personal designed fairy tale Pincopallino is the right place. Send an e-mail including your wishes; colours, theme, text, atmosphere... You will receive a plan from Pincopallino including the dates of the first proposal within 7 working days.
1.Proposal
Pincopallino will send you a proposal. Herein your wishes are converted as well and as beautiful as possible. Let Pincopallino know what you think about the proposal and indicate what else you would like.
2.Elaboration
Now, the design will be elaborated further. All alterations will be converted into the design and now it will really start to look like your design! Pincopallino will send you another sample. This sample should be checked very carefully (for mistakes in the text).
3.Alterations
This time we will dot the i’s and cross the t’s. The last alterations will be made and you will receive your last sample for the time being. Now, all you have to do is wait for the birth or arrival of your baby!
As soon as your baby is born and the photo + name & date etc. are known at Pincopallino’s, you will receive the very last digital sample. After this, the cards can immediately be taken to the printer!

A sweet fairy tale comes true
Imagine; your child floating in an air bubble, dreamily in a scenery of flowers, sitting on the back of a favourite soft toy or floating on a water lily. As a little princess or on the contrary, as a hero in a sturdy airplane....At Pincopallino’s all this is possible! "It is wonderful to portray children in another dream world. As a child I could fantasize about that for hours. The best part is when you see the child itself with its `own painting`”.
Send your own photo of your little one, (or have pictures taken) and we will turn it into a breathtaking and personal fairy tale. The final result will be printed onto canvas and be tightened onto a sturdy 2 or, available at a small additional charge, onto a 4 cm thick wooden frame (picture continues on the sides.) and will be sent to you.
